Becoming Partners.
At Cru Central Coast, we partner with many local churches in SLO county for the benefit of the kingdom. Our students have led worship, volunteered and interned in Sunday school classrooms and youth groups, helped with feeding and caring for the displaced, and even served as guest speakers on occasion. Our staff have come into church services and youth groups for special seminars and to speak on specific topics.
Local churches help us greatly in a variety of ways: by providing meeting spaces, supporting outreaches financially, sending volunteers who do regular evangelism on community college campuses, and mentoring our older students.
We would love to have a conversation with you, if you are a pastor or church staff member, about how we can partner together and what it might look like. Interested in partnering with us? Contact Gretchen.
Serving.
Are you a graduate who still has a heart for ministry at your alma mater? Many of our amazing Cru alumni help us in a variety of ways:
*Volunteering as a mentor or small group leader
*Lending expertise in your field and career
*Supporting students and staff for short-term missions trips, or for a year of ministry
*Helping seniors or recent grads get connected to a community of faith in your area
*Sharing with our current students about how your time in Cru has impacted your life since college (video or written)

Donating.
Cru as an organization relies on the generosity of individuals: individuals who see beyond the current reality to realize the impact a financial gift can make in the life of a student or professor. Through the generous and faithful support of individuals - Cru Central Coast has been a staple in this community, with lasting impact in the lives of college students and professors. From seeing students and professors come to faith in Jesus, make decisions to serve with us, take steps to share their faith with others, or exit college with a vision of living step in step with Jesus for the rest of their lives - our donors and our ministry gets to see real life impact. Would you consider giving in one of these ways to further our ministry impact and benefit the students and professors we serve?
Ministry Fund.
In any given school year, our ministry might: 1) provide a student with a Bible so they can study and read God’s Word, 2) provide materials for student leaders so that they can lead younger students in Bible study and help them grow in their faith, 3) put on relevant outreaches that engage with our students and faculty, so that everyone has the opportunity to hear and consider the teachings of Jesus in a way that makes sense to them, 4) provide snacks or games at a social event so that students and faculty can connect with others in a comfortable setting. Would you consider giving to our ministry financially to help us offset costs like these?
Scholarships.
God uses retreats, conferences and mission trips to make a huge impact on students’ lives. Every year, we see people come to Christ for the first time, recommit their lives to following Him, and make decisions to follow His calling into ministry as a result of purposeful time spent away from the rigors of campus to rest, think, and drink deeply from the living water of his word. Unfortunately, many students struggle to afford events like these. We desire for our retreats to be open to everyone, so we love to provide scholarships for those who want to attend a trip or retreat but can’t afford the cost and/or the time off of work. Would you consider giving to help a student attend one of these events?
